Engaging with Scholars
There are different ways for individuals and organizations to meet with Scholars and share information about their organizations, industry trends, and personal leadership. From traditional campus presentations to online coffee chats, we can host your organization in a format that works best for you!
Career Connections
Informal session for company professionals to share industry trends, their career paths and provide tips for those who want to get into the field.
Networking Events
Don’t have a specific need for talent right now but you, or members of your team are in Beijing? We can host you for breakfast, lunch, or dinner at the College. These are often small group conversations for around 10 students and are informal in nature.
Industry Mentor Program
A key component of Scholars’ experiential learning experience. Every year, we invite leaders across different sectors to serve as one-on-one mentors to our students, sharing their knowledge and guiding students during their time in Beijing.
Industry Immersion
A half-day conference-style career event held at the College in the beginning of September. Open to Schwarzman Scholars and Tsinghua students.
Site Visits
We organize students to visit companies throughout the year. The visit usually consists of office tour, company introduction and in-depth discussion with leadership team.
Recruiting
Virtual Recruiting Events: Video Conference
If a visit to China for your recruiting team is not possible, consider recruiting students through virtual events from presentations to interviews. We have conference rooms and classrooms available that allow organizations to host a video conference presentation. Our Scholars are very comfortable using a variety of platforms for informational conversations or formal interviews.
Pre-Matriculation Outreach and Events
Our talent is eager to be made aware of recruiting opportunities for full-time employment or secure internships before matriculation. Scholars can be accessed via recruiting presentations starting in January, 8 months prior to matriculation, with resumes available in April, 5 months prior to matriculation. This is an excellent time to build relationships with incoming Scholars. You may host a virtual organization presentation during this time or proactively reach out to prospective talent.
Schwarzman Talent
Schwarzman Scholars welcomes the opportunity to help you source talent from our diverse pool of incoming Scholars, current scholars or alumni. Employers and recruiters can access resumes, host a job, and post an event directly to Scholars on the GradLeaders platform or by emailing our engagement team at careers@sc.tsinghua.edu.cn. We can also create customized resume books based on your selection criteria. If you would like to reach Scholars or receive a copy of our resume book for the Class of 2020 or the Class 2021, please reach out to our engagement team.
Recruiting Policies
Schwarzman Scholars has developed recruiting policies designed to create a fair and nondiscriminatory recruiting environment for students, alumni, and organizations.
