Spotlight on a Scholar: Jintian Li on Bringing Professional Sports to China

With the year now underway, we are excited to share insights from the Scholars in their own words.

Jintian Li graduated from the University of Rochester and spent time as a visiting student at the University of Oxford. He has spent the past eight years studying and working in New York at the head office of the National Basketball Association, focusing on expanding the league’s commercial presence internationally. Aspiring to be a leader who drives the Chinese sports industry forward, Jintian hopes to gain a deeper intellectual understanding of his home country in a global context through Schwarzman Scholars. Jintian is 26 years old and from Mainland China.
